7 月 28 日消息，隨著微軟 Windows 11 22H2 發布在即，英特爾和 AMD 等硬件供應商已開始推出驅動程序，增加對即將到來的 Windows 11 功能更新的支持。
對于使用英特爾舊集顯的用戶來說，遷移到 Windows 11 22H2 卻意味著支持的結束。新版本系統引入了 Windows 顯示驅動程序模型 (WDDM) 3.1 版本，英特爾發布公告，將終止對其第 10 代(桌面端Comet Lake 和移動端 Ice Lake)及更老處理器系列的支持。
英特爾稱，自 2022 年 7 月 27 日起，英特爾將把第 6 代至第 10 代處理器顯卡和相關的英特爾凌動、奔騰和賽揚處理器顯卡轉移到舊版軟件支持模型。英特爾將僅為受影響的產品提供關鍵修復和安全漏洞的軟件支持，這些產品的軟件更新將按季度發布節奏或根據需要隨軟件發布而更新。

此外，這一支持變更意味著 10 代及以下處理器集顯將不再獲得游戲的首發支持，驅動也將和 11 代及以上分成兩個的不同版本。
IT之家此前報道，AMD 已經針對 Windows 11 22H2 發布了驅動程序，該驅動基于微軟下一代 Windows 顯示驅動程序模型 (WDDM) v3.1，對 OpenGL 的性能進行了大幅提升。英偉達預計也將在不久后發布支持 Windows 11 22H2 的驅動。
